Frankkie began as an alter ego project to creator, Sierra Francesca.
The idea was to create a Ziggy Stardust-esque character that was shocking and countercultural the the times of digital media. Her emphasis was an immersive, live-concert experience. Rather than showcasing merely a setlist of songs, her shows contained theatrics, in-audience actors, and city-wide, easter egg hunts to track down the elusive next appearance. Documentation of such events are very little, as to ensure getting lost in the moment - not documenting.
Though her live-shows are seldom, the heart of the raw, practical-effect, and cultural commentary remains in the creator's work.

With the majority of her endeavors being done with little to no documentation, there still had to be a lasting impression. Humans, with their fleeting memory, were bound to forget without a physical "take-away."

TIME TRAVELERS MADE KNOWN
DROPPING THE 'K'... AND THE ACT
Frankkie was, is, and will be an androgynous, time-traveling, multimedia artist, currently located in the year 2023. The artist was spontaneously generated outside of time in the Andromeda Galaxy. She first appeared on Earth in Portland, Oregon in November of 2021, due to a mechanical failure in her vessel. She quickly vanished after only a month, and eventually rematerialized on Earth in Nashville, Tennessee in early 2023.
The full origin of Frankkie is unknown even to herself. The event of her spontaneous generation insinuates the collection of stardust eventually pressurizing to create a new species. She carries the memories of the Andromedan stars that created her, as well as the stardust collected in her transit through the Milky Way.
Fishbag Tribune
Copies of Fishbag Tribune have been spotted in various cities around the world. With no digital footprint, and no database in any library system, it is nearly impossible to understand the publications true origin, and true intent.
Is it a publication planted from beyond, or merely a fan-made creation, a loophole found to document the elusive, ever changing, impossible to track down character?
Frankkie appeared in Los Angeles, California in late 2023. She hosted a few of her renowned performances, before slowly fading into the ether. "I thought the way forward, was actually to go back. I really thought this would be the city where everyone would care about a sort of "if you know you know" experience...but there's too much noise. I can't bring myself to sell out into the short-form media just yet."
She still has hope in the glam rock revival, not just sonically, but culturally. People responding to what intrigues them, not what the internet tells them to be intrigued by. "I believe it can happen, but instead of aspiring for it on a global scale, I'm just focused on changing my world in the meantime.
These days, Frankkie, more commonly now Frankie, can be found at home in Los Angeles with her cat, Olive. The two live a quiet life, creativity still flows, and entering into their household demands presence.
Until Frankkie hits the stage again, she infiltrates the industry by contributing behind the scenes into the creative identity of up and coming artists.

First (Documented) Visit to Earth
Contrary to popular belief, Frankkie first surfaced in Portland, Oregon in November of 2021. With mechanical difficulties and no way to get around, she resided in various empty homes, taking care of the owner’s pets while they were away. The newfound language, connection and understanding of loneliness conduced itself into a poetry collection. It Was Good Until It Wasn’t was soon after published by Bottlecap Press and immediately obtained by many creatives from the Southern California region. Although aiming to head there next, Frankkie unexpectedly vanished.
Frankkie resurfaced in England 1972 after her time in the Pacific Northwest of America. The melancholy forest was replaced with the wild, rock 'n' roll scene of the city. Following her contemplative chapter, the rush of rock 'n' roll flowed like glitter through her veins and she befriended another alien musician. Noting the human’s enthusiastic reception to the otherworldly creature, she felt determined to chase the high that the glam coursed through her.
Second Visit to Earth
After getting lost through various blackholes and failing to located her aforementioned alien friend in 1985, Frankkie relocated to Earth in April of 2023. Her resurface in Nashville, Tennessee came with shock. The jarring nature of the glam rock era in the '70s seemed to have diluted and wiggled its way into everyday fashion, hairstyles, and music. Frankkie noted, however, that it felt “aimless,” and “collective,” with “nothing really standing out, when everyone is standing out.” She also noted the "galaxy they call the internet" was like “time traveling and blackhole hopping your mind, but leaving your body behind…almost like an emotional splinching.”
Determined the make herself and others “feel present and have life be tangible again,” Frankkie is known for her theatric live concerts that much like her, carry the spirit of stars passed.
